Therapeutic Riding of Texas

Deborah recently retired from Delta Airlines and brings with her many years of customer service skills. Deborah was a member of the Delta Care Team which gave her extensive training and insight to families of crisis. She holds a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington. With the support of her family and friends, she has been able to volunteer and give back to her community. She has given her time to KERA Public Broadcasting Network and came to TROT in 2009 as a volunteer. Her fondest memory of horsemanship was attending the Pin Oak Horse Show with her father at age ten. This upbringing, love of horses and her aspiration to help others has brought her to TROT.

Linda Keane is an Army Brat who moved from Massachusetts to Texas thirty years ago. She has been an avid reader all her life and does what she can to promote literacy. Her many years working at libraries and other non-profit organizations have provided her with marketing and fundraising experience. She spent four years at National Athletic Trainer’s Association and six years at Texas Instruments. Linda has always loved horses and enjoys spending time with the ones she and her husband nurture. One lucky day in 2002, she showed up for an orientation at TROT and discovered the wonderful spirit of the riders, horses, and volunteers and was hooked. “It’s all about the rider and seeing the pure unadulterated pleasure as they ride high in the saddle.”
