Therapeutic Riding of Texas (TROT) Has Immediate Volunteer Needs

Organization provides recreational horsemanship with therapeutic benefits to children and adults.

CEDAR HILL, Texas – June 24, 2008 – Therapeutic Riding of Texas (TROT), a non-profit organization
dedicated to serving Dallas-Fort Worth area special-needs riders is in immediate need of a Rider
Coordinator and a Public Relations representative. Please contact the TROT office at 972.293.3388.
TROT is a NARHA (The North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) Premier accredited
therapeutic riding center. TROT’s nationally recognized therapeutic horsemanship curriculum includes
safety, grooming, saddling, ground handling and riding.

Serving area children and adults with disabilities for over 20 years TROT provides a program of
recreational horsemanship with many therapeutic benefits. Noted improvements are noted in all areas
including self-esteem, socialization and overall improved quality of life in addition to posture, balance
and mobility.

TROT is a non-profit organization with a 501c-3 status. Current funding comes from personal
contributions and fund-raising activities. All donations are tax deductible.
